Kharazmi University Admissions

 

Kharazmi University welcomes applications from international students seeking a stimulating academic experience in Iran. The application process is designed to be efficient and transparent.

 

Here's what you need to know:

 

Application Submission: Submit your academic transcripts, desired field of study, and degree level (bachelor's, master's, or doctoral) electronically to the International Student Admissions Office at infokhu.ac.ir. Be sure to meet the application deadline.

 

Application Review: The Admissions Office will review your application materials, including transcripts, to ensure they align with your chosen program. This process typically takes 1-7 business days.

 

Departmental Review: If your application meets the initial requirements, the International Relations Office will forward it to the relevant department chair within 2-3 business days. The department will then review your application for suitability for the program.

 

Admission Decision: The department chair will make the final admission decision. The International Relations Office will notify you of the decision and provide further instructions if you are accepted.

 

Registration: Upon acceptance, you will receive instructions for online registration with the Organization for Students' Affairs. Additionally, you will be informed about tuition fees and deadlines.

 

Required Documents:

  • Academic transcripts (including detailed grade reports) for your chosen degree level:
    • Master's and bachelor's degree certificates (for doctoral applicants)

Kharazmi University Tuition Fees

 

Tuition fees vary by faculty. For Bachelor's programs, tuition is €400 for students in Faculties of Literature and Humanities, Law and Political Science, Psychology and Education, Physical Education and Sport Sciences, Geographic Sciences, Management, Economics, and Financial Sciences, and €485 for students in Faculties of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Sciences, Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Engineering, Arts, and Architecture. Master's tuition is €660 and €750, respectively, for these two groups of faculties. Doctoral students in the first group of faculties pay €1050, while those in the second group pay €1150, making the university an affordable choice for those looking to study in Iran, including international students in Iran.

 

International students must pay a non-refundable application fee of 3,500,000 Rials at the International Student Admissions Office. Upon acceptance, students are required to register and pay tuition fees. This includes two semesters of Farsi language courses, with payments of 140,000,000 Rials at admission and 210,000,000 Rials upon graduation. 

 

Tuition fees are non-refundable, and the initial acceptance is valid for only one week. While first-semester tuition must be paid in full, installment payments may be possible for subsequent semesters, subject to approval. Additional costs include monthly dormitory fees ranging from 75 to 150 Euros, a monthly meal plan of 145 Euros for 60 meals, and a 60 Euro student health and sports insurance fee, making it important for those planning to study in Iran, including international students in Iran, to budget accordingly.
